As Managing Director of VPC, Robert Rosenstein ("Rob") oversees and executes investment strategies, deal/fundraising execution and works with portfolio CEOs on driving performance.

Rob is the Co-founder and Chairman of online travel giant Agoda Company Pte. Ltd, one of Asia's first homegrown unicorns and today one of the five largest consumer travel platforms in the world. He was behind the conception and launch of Agoda.com in 2005, and managed the company, serving as both President and CEO for more than a decade. From 2018-2025, Rob worked as Strategic Advisor to the CEO of Booking Holdings Inc (formerly known as Priceline Group "BHI") which is the world’s largest travel company by market value. In that capacity Rob sourced and helped execute large scale investments in China, Korea and elsewhere in the APAC region.

Currently, via VPC, he continues to serve as a Sr. Advisor to BHI advises on investment and operating strategies as well as other special projects for Booking Holdings inc, which in addition to Agoda, also owns Kayak.com, Priceline.com, Rentalcars.com, Booking.com and OpenTable.com. Rob also currently serves as Chairman of Agoda.

Rob speaks and writes regularly on the topic of entrepreneurial leadership culture. He is the co-author with Dr. Peter Allen of At Home Around The World, a book about how informal vacation rentals are impacting travelers, communities, local economies, home owners and regulators globally.
